Big steps for a small boy.

In an earlier newsletter we told you about a young boy named Stephan who had recently arrived at the Orphanage. He came from a sad and broken home having been abandoned by his father. Like any child who has suffered this type of pain and loss he was left with emotional scars and a deep sense of shame. We have surrounded Stephan with love and acceptance and a feeling of being home. Not only does he live in our Christian family but he has also received the medical and professional help he needs. Today he is already a different boy: happier and more confident. Each time we see a child like Stephan blossom, grow, and begin to smile again we remember why we do what we do. We too begin to smile!
