Wood for the BOL Home Update

We are happy to share that our May firewood appeal has been going very well. We have already received nearly seven truckloads of firewood out of the ten needed. The importance of warmth for our children at the Bread of Life Home in Brosteni can not be overstated.

The BOL Home is on the Bistrita River, nestled between the mountains, and the winter season typically extends over six months. It’s not uncommon for temperatures to plummet below freezing and, on some days, even drop to zero Fahrenheit.

While we rejoice in ordering enough wood for the first part of the winter, we still need to complete the need for the remaining winter months.

Your support for the remaining three truckloads of wood, which cost $1,110 each, is not just a financial contribution. It’s a testament to God’s glory in our local community, where we have never lacked warmth and have even been able to share our firewood with some of the local elderly. Praise God.

Sponsorship at the Bread of Life Home is more than financial support—it is an act of faith that changes lives on both sides of the relationship. When sponsors step forward to pray for, mentor, and invest in a child, they become part of a story of hope, healing, and belonging.
